I know that age gap relationships are typically viewed as gross in western society, but we know older men get a free pass with younger women, this isn't just due to men having privilege, but the biological factor of older men being able to reproduce. Older women are viewed as a taboo since a woman's use in a patriarchal society is here ability to bear children, meaning men who chase older women are viewed as weirdos and that older women aren't deserving of a loving relationship.
I'm 30 and my wife is 44, I get some criticisms, if it were me dating an 18 year old woman no one would care. I've been dating my wife since she was 35 and we had our daughter when she was 40. I know my relationship type is in the minority, but my wife shouldn't feel ashamed for being a career woman and choosing to have a kid later in life, it's not fair at all.
