If your comment didn't post, it's probably due to your internet connection.

If you ever ran into a situation in the past, on this site where your comment or reply didn't show up after you clicked the 'Post Comment' button, but the comment you left in the text box disappeared anyways, to where you have to rewrite your comment, it's most likely because your internet connection slowed down or completely stopped.

I tried to add an error message when a user's internet isn't working properly, but nothing changed unless their internet completely stopped, as I tested it out for myself. In that case, there will be an error message. However, if your internet simply slowed down to the point where your comment doesn't post but you are still registered as 'online', you won't see that.

UPDATE: Your comment in the text box won't be deleted until it has been posted, so if your internet cuts off, it will be retained, so you don't have to copy and paste your comment to save it anymore.


