If Paris Laroche was abused by Sidney Mantee, free her!

A Nanaimo, BC woman killed her boyfriend back in March 2020, with a hammer and she alleged that he was abusive. Her lawyer said she displayed symptoms of a battered woman, but she also tried to make it out like she didn't kill him, at first.

She mentioned that he told her that he threatened to kill her and her family, and that he was apart of a gang, involved in criminal activity. However, police found no criminal record of that man.

I don't know who to believe, to be honest, but if he did abuse her, I say he got what he deserved, and Paris Laroche should be set free. I personally think it should be legal for women to kill their physically abusive boyfriends or husbands, even if it wasn't immediate self defense.


