what even is Youtube doing anymore?

Youtube has recently changed the progress bar to pink and did the same with other parts of the website. it looks nice I guess, but the thing that really pisses me off, is that, they're adding these stupid and almost impossible to notice details instead of actually getting rid of all of the misogynistic garbage that is on the platform. I mean, with how scarily good AI is getting, how can they not improve their moderation? feels like they're just letting this stay on the platform on purpose.
getting rid of hateful content should be one of the priorities if not the number one priority, but instead, for them, it's to add a pink gradient to the progress bar. smh.


