This is the first femicide in the US that I found out about in 2025, not that there aren't many more that I don't know about. My year is already starting to get ruined when it comes to how I feel about the status of women's situation. This is why I feel joy on the rare occasion when it's a female perpetrator and a male victim, in a murder case.


