Personal Experiences That Have Made Me Stop Being Friends With Men

Betrayal: There's not much to say about most of the ones who did, but the one that hurt the most, was my best male friend from last year, who was hated by a lot of the school for doing things in the past that got him arrested, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and was nice to him. We got along great, but then on Tuesday November 5, he turned on me for no reason whatsoever.

Bullying: I have experienced far more bullying from men than women. And even when I WAS bullied by women, it was because they were jerks in general, rather than bullying me for being male. Heck, I was even physically assaulted by boys a few times in elementary school.

Hurting Other Friends Of Mine: My best male friend from last year told me a lie about my best female friend (Who was formerly his girlfriend), and also flirted with my second best female friend, despite KNOWING that she's a lesbian. Another one of them accused my 2 best female friends of talking about me behind my back.

Acephobia: I have experienced a BUNCH of hateful feedback and cruel jokes for being ace, and pretty much all of them were from men. (The absolute worst of it being from my best male friend from last year.) I have not encountered ONE acephobic woman.

Humiliation And Gossip: They would spread lies about me and sometimes even blatantly humiliate me and embarrass me with no hesitation. The worst example being last month where one of them spouted about a book explaining what the colors on the rainbow flag mean is my "Favorite book", due to me being ace, which is another example of the acephobia I've faced. And one of them once called me a Democrat and a Kamala Harris supporter just for saying men commit crimes more.

After all these things, I learned to not trust a single male being that claims to view me as a friend. Men are my enemies, not my friends.


