How My Friendship With A Lesbian Was Tarnished (Or So I Thought) But Then Enhanced

Like I said in a previous thread, I turned from asexual to straight in late March. There were three girls I started liking. 2 of them failed quickly because they both had boyfriends (And it didn't help that I accidentally said one out loud at a baseball stadium, embarrassing myself). There was one girl in particular I liked that I told some of my friends about, but they told me she was a lesbian, therefore I never told her. However, she ended up being told about it by my friends. She asked me in a PE period if I had a crush on her, I tried to get out of it by saying no, but then she said "I know you do. People have told me." And then I walked away out of embarrassment. I thought our friendship was ruined, but then she walked up toward me and said "Nolan, I'm sorry for embarrassing you. I don't really care about you having a crush on me." And now we make jokes all the time, such as me saying "It's fine that you're lesbian, I like women too." and her saying "Want a threesome with me and Bella? (One of my crushes that turned out to have a boyfriend.)" And some of my friends make jokes about it too, especially Bella. My 2 favorite ones from her being right after Makayla (My lesbian friend) said "I don't really care that you have a crush on me.", Bella said "Y'all should just go ahead and get married." and one time after I bought Makayla food in a lunch period, Bella said "Nolan trying to make Makayla bi." In all seriousness though, even if Makayla were to still stay lesbian, I would still love having her as a girlfriend, because I don't look for sex, I look for love.


