Even when fathers have daughters RIGHT THERE in front of them, the poor girls waiting to receive proper affection and adoration from their parent, men would still dream for sons over daughters or gravitate towards kid male relatives instead and give them more love and attention. All because they share ONE major similarity: being MALE.

Hell, sadly, even a lot of mothers are like this towards their daughters too...due to internalized misogyny. And because their mothers know deep down that if their daughters were actually sons...they would've actually had more chances to succeed in this patriarchy-focused life too.

These are all reasons why femicide of female babies occur or used to happen abroad, like in China for instance...


