I haven't been here in a while, figure I share my thoughts. I spent some time re-reading Max Dashu and the female erasure book. It's documented that paleolithic and neolithic humans were centered around the mother, we know the advent of agriculture was the beginning of the decline. Obviously humanity needed these advancements, but it didn't need to come at the expense of the women being cattle for men. Men brag about this civilization experiment, yet they're the first to blame women when society collapses, they don't take any accountability.

Men brag about fatherhood, but are the first to leave their kid (mostly their sons behind). I speak from experience as someone raised by a single mother and proud of it. My biological father left me at age 2 and I always had a bad relationship with my step father. Patriarchy values the man in the marriage, is son is an asset into his future and the woman is below his son. It's just not a natural way to live life. Matriarchal societies never even oppressed men, the men had their role to play and the women had their role to play; then men had to make everything about them.

I know there are women here who aren't mothers, but would you at least agree if the human race is to be healthy, the woman needs to be the figurehead of the family unit? The nuclear family model isn't even organic to humanity, yet people believe it has been around for millions of years.
