Does anyone else notice how much society degrades female children compared to male children?
Female children are:
- taught their looks are most important.
Any time someone compliments their young daughter(s), they MUST always include something about her beauty, which they do not feel the need to emphasize when complimenting their young son(s)
- made to wear clothing that is designed for SHOW, not play
In the girls vs boys section of clothing stores, for girls you will only ever find shorts that show a lot of skin, it is difficult to find more modest clothing for girls,
For formal events and occasions, and even on normal days, girls are made to wear dresses and skirts, which are often itchy, uncomfortable, and inconvienent for typical child activities such as running around, getting
Dirty, climbing up into trees and on play structures etc
Meanwhile, boys clothing prioritizes modesty and allows them to feel comfortable while playing. Even though they are still formal wear, suits are far more comfortable than dresses.
Even girls underwear is designed to ride up the ass, while boys get full ass coverage.

What does this show our daughters? It shows them they are secondary to boys. It humilates them... and dehumanizes them by "othering" them from little boys.

If I ever have a daughter, there's no way in hell she's going to be wearing the skimpy shorts and skirts, unecessarily fitted t shirts, and uncomfortable dresses they try to push on girls! She will be dressed comfortably for playtime. If she doesn't like the boyish graphics on the clothing, I'm sure I'll be able to find something with a design she will like, or I may even sew her clothing myself from scratch.
Also, MAKEUP... women are encouraged to mask their features to be considered socially acceptable, but if you suggest a man use makeup, everyone would laugh at you.
