I have traits regarded as feminine, such as wearing leggings in daily activity rather than just sports, sitting with my legs crossed, having a voice many would consider girly, owning a Stanley cup, and once having pink braces. I have been called gay, trans, and a faggot for all of these things. I may just be ignorant, but I don't see women being called lesbian, trans, or a dyke for wearing t-shirts, hoodies, sweat pants, driving trucks, and having a deep voice. Back when I got pink braces, my dad yelled at me and said that people would think I'm gay for it. Odds are if I was a girl and made my braces black, he wouldn't have said anything. I may be wrong, but women with "Masculine" traits, generally aren't as stigmatized as men with "Feminine" traits.
