I'm happy to be here, good to have a place where I can express radical feminist views without being censored. I'm a woman in my early 40s and have been a radfem since the early 90s. I know that we're in a completely different world now, we have to deal with not only misogynistic men, but trans people as well in the age of social media.
I wanted to start a topic around family, because while women view it as slavery, I believe we're looking at it all wrong. The woman has ALWAYS been the center of the family, even in patriarchal oppression, women maintain the family structure better than men. I'm a firm believer in mothers having strong relationships with their daughters, that is literally your legacy.
There was a time thousands of years ago, where families were always centered around the mother.
