Jezebel is a news site that was made in 2007 and it is geared towards women and feminist issues.

Jezebel had a good purpose but that site wasn't loud enough and was never even close to being on the level of YouTube, where there are tons of anti-women videos and tons of men who hate feminism and don't want women to progress. This includes the videos that have denigrated Jezebel and got way more exposure from the public, than the Jezebel articles themselves.

Jezebel only included articles written by certain women who had writing credentials. The articles needed to be approved, of course, and there is no comment section. The articles needed to be in response of certain events.

Here on FemiNuremberg, any woman or girl can come, join this site, and make videos, threads, comments about any issue affecting the female sex, without the need of those posts getting published/approved first, without the need to make it about the news only and without the need for any credentials in literature.

Lets face it, a video-hosting platform with the ability to comment, reply to other comments, post on a forum, and even post in a chat room, is a lot more exciting than a simple news site, with none of those features. That's how YouTube got so popular.

Unlike Jezebel, FemiNuremberg aims to compete with YouTube and extract the world of as many of it's female audience and female content creators, as possible. Their voices will be louder here, than anywhere else, especially when they make their own videos. This will be a great counter for all the anti feminist and misogynistic videos on YouTube, unlike mere articles.

FemiNuremberg isn't that popular yet, since it has only existed for less than 2 years, but I will do whatever it takes to make sure it approaches the top.


