Did you know that you can regrow your own lettuce from the grocery store?

After buying lettuce from the store, you can simply cut off the bottom stem from the leaves, or you can wait until you have finished eating all of the leaves. Then place the stem in a container of water.

Since all plants need photosynthesis to grow, sunlight helps too.
