Why are Ukrainians treated better than Poles, especially Polish women in my country?

Look, OUN-UPA used to kill 100,000 Poles, including women and children and yet we all help Ukrainians, because of Putin and stuff (well, Putin is a male chauvinist pig who wants wars, but Ukrainians were no better). Read: Volhynian and Eastern Galician slaughter of Poles, entry in Wikipedia. Meanwhile Polish people, especially women are treated worse than Ukrainians, and any other ethnic minorities in Poland. Why?
