Atatiana Koquice Jefferson was a 28 year old woman from Fort Worth, Texas, who was shot by police in 2019. She was playing video games with her family members when one of the neighbors noticed that her door was open and became concerned for her. He called the non emergency number for the police. The police show up, and she was killed by officer Aaron Dean.
This was the last photo of the bodycam video(which I can't show), before she was shot. She was shot before they even finished saying their command for her.
The police officer, alleges that they only saw a gun and couldn't initially tell if the person was black or white, or a man or a woman. Looks like that was a bunch of lies.
Does it look like, you couldn't see her? Does it look like she was holding up a gun? Even if she was, can you blame her for wanting to defend herself against a possible intruder in her house? She did live in a stand-your-ground state, after all. They should have made sure she knew it was the police. However, that cop didn't even have a warrant to go into her house.
May that cop who killed her, Aaron Dean, rot in prison! He should have gotten a first or second degree murder charge but he only got convicted of manslaughter. SMH. Regardless, he's gonna have a good time since inmates do not like cops, especially when they murder black people.
