Right now, he has blocked users from sharing Mastodon links. It looks like he doesn't want a competitor to be promoted.
He may have relaxed the rules a little but he agrees with manipulating the algorithms so that 'offensive' posts do not get many views. He's for 'freedom of speech' but NOT 'freedom of reach'.
I'm still permabanned on Twitter, so his leadership hasn't benefited me at all.
